Glenaeon Parent & Volunteer Declaration

Glenaeon is a Child Safe organisation. Parents and Volunteers play an essential role in our school and community. A child safe organisation must provide induction and ongoing training about child safety and child protection for its Staff and relevant Volunteers and Contractors. We must also provide supervision in relation to, and monitor, our child safety-related performance.

All Volunteers (including students on placements/practicums) at the School are responsible for contributing to the safety and protection of students in the School environment.  It is the School’s policy that all Volunteers must:

  • Adhere to Glenaeon’s Child Code of Conduct, Child Safe Policy, Student and Staff Boundaries Policy. All Volunteers are held to the same standard as staff when on School grounds.

  • Hold a current WWCC clearance (unless under 18 years old).

  • Report child safety concerns to the Child Safe Officer (Deputy Head of School) or contact police if you have immediate concerns for a students safety.

For Duke of Ed Assessors, you must also complete the Glenaeon New Duke of Education Assessor Child Safety Declaration Form in conjunction with this form.

This registration will expire at the end of each calendar year. You will need to re-register the following year if you wish to remain on the Volunteer or Duke of Ed Assessor Register.
